Behind each designer rug lies an artistic process of his own. The designs are born from Javier Velarde’s pictorial work and assemblages: layers, strata and shapes that reinterpret the language of nature and bring it into the domestic space.

Every contemporary wool rug is hand-woven in wool, silk or bamboo silk using traditional techniques such as hand tufting and hand knotting, in collaboration with artisan workshops in India and Nepal. A careful process with limited production that guarantees the quality and uniqueness of each piece.

The result: original design and craft tradition united in unique handmade rugs conceived for the home.
