This Collection is again inspired by my assemblies and ranges from monochrome rugs to a multi-coloured version with a palette of 41 colours.

This collection consists of eight rugs, handcrafted in India using the hand-tufted technique with 100% New Zealand wool and bamboo silk for the coloured strokes.

This collection arises as a consequence of my work in the Collage, an assemblage of dyed papers that are superimposed and create beautiful fields of color that transcend the domestic and bring us closer to the natural.

THROUGH THESE CARPETS I RETURN TO THE IDEA OF PROCESS AS A CONCEPT, TURNING THE BLOCKS OF DYED PAPER WITH WHICH I DEVELOP MY COLLAGES INTO PIECES WITH VALUE IN THEMSELVES.

The term "Trama" ("weft") has been linked to the textile world since its beginnings, but it is also linked to the world of Fine Arts when line or stitch was the only resource.

THE SCRIBBLE, THE PROTAGONIST OF THIS COLLECTION, MATERIALISES AS A SYMBOL OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS. THESE FORMS ARE WHAT, IN PICTORIAL LANGUAGE, BEST EXEMPLIFY THE ATTEMPT AND THE WILL TO ACHIEVE SOMETHING.

THESE CARPETS THAT COMBINE THE BROADLOOM TECHNIQUE ON THE ENTIRE SURFACE AND HAND-TUFTED IN THE COLOUR STROKES OFFER US A BEAUTIFUL PLAY OF COLOURS, TEXTURES AND VOLUMES THROUGH AN EXQUISITE EXECUTION.

A subtle and elegant proposal in pastel colours. This reedition of the Landscape collection comes from the selection of several silhouettes of my first carpets articulated again on a base colour.
